Geopolitical Priorities, Conflicts, Refugee Crisis and Authoritarianism in Current World Affairs

This study aims to draw the picture of current World Affairs by focusing on significant concepts and trends. Qualitative method will be based of this study by using international relations theories and combination of these theories with political science-philosophy.
After end of Cold War era, we witnessed unipolar international relations system. However, in last decade, unipolar system was replaced by multipolar system with emergence of geopolitical priorities of Russia, China, India, etc.
Therefore, we faced to face more conflictual, complicated structure within international relations system/ Civil Wars, İnter state conflicts-wars caused displacements of the people. As a result, people try to secure themselves and provide their economic prosperity by immigration to Western countries and so that process has been identified as refugee crisis.
Geopolitical priorities, wars and refugee crisis (immigration) enforce the states to take new measures for their national security-interests and economic prosperity, sometimes such processes cause followings of authoritarian policies by the states.
