Abstract

Medical universities have always been trying to investigate various methods to enhance teaching and develop means for healthcare academics to develop their teaching abilities. Many studies have looked at various methods to do this. As stated in a study by Bolam, R. (2013), there is an argument in organizations on whether student learning depends on well-educated teachers rather than well-trained ones. Medical teachers play a crucial role in shaping the future of healthcare by educating the next generation of medical professionals. To effectively impart complex medical knowledge and skills, these educators must undergo specialized training. This training equips them with the latest advancements in medical science, teaching methodologies, and assessment techniques. As medical knowledge rapidly evolves, continuous professional development ensures that teachers stay current with best practices and innovations, allowing them to provide students with the most relevant and up-to-date information. Moreover, effective medical education extends beyond mere content delivery; it requires the ability to engage, motivate, and support diverse learners. Training programs for medical teachers often include components on pedagogy, communication skills, and mentorship, fostering an environment that encourages critical thinking and collaboration among students. By honing these skills, medical educators can create dynamic and inclusive learning experiences, ultimately leading to better-prepared healthcare professionals who are equipped to meet the challenges of modern medicine.
