The Digital Transformation as Part of Entrepreneurship Development in Kazakhstan

Abstract

Currently, the market is dictating the evolution of companies introducing modern business process management technologies so that they can compete with each other in the market. However, not all companies know how to properly use digital technologies and what solutions should be chosen for their activities. The article examines the current situation of small and medium-sized business in the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding digital transformation in the further development of the company. It is noted that, in Kazakhstan, the largest number of residents and visitors have access to the Internet and digital technologies, which makes it necessary for companies to adapt to their customers in order to further develop the potential and to transform their business into digital technologies. The most common digital platforms that are in greatest demand among small and medium-sized business companies are also considered. The article also describes the main problem that companies face is mainly the lack of qualified specialists who can develop strategies and implement them as part of the digital transformation process. Moreover, a large number of enterprises do not have the resources necessary to successfully implement digital transformations. Business can benefit from digital technologies to simplify processes, speed up decision making, and reduce production and customer service costs. The digital transformation process requires active management support and the participation of all team members.
