The Integration of Roma and Egyptian Children and Youth into Albania's Education System: An Overview of the National Action Plan for Equality, Inclusion and Participation of Roma and Egyptians in The Republic of Albania 2021-2025

Abstract

This paper provides an overview of the national strategies for integrating Roma and Egyptian children and youth into the Albanian education system. The information is based on the National Action Plan for Roma and Egyptians 2021-2025. The National Action Plan aims to integrate Roma and Egyptians into mainstream Albanian society. This paper describes the current state of integration of Roma and Egyptian communities in Albania, with a focus on education. It discusses the challenges faced by these minorities in the education system and the state's planned progress up until 2025. The article discusses the implications for future policies regarding the educational inclusion of Roma and Egyptian children and adolescents.
