To breathe life into image sequences, animation students must master the art of capturing moments. However, traditional video-based learning methods have proven ineffective in conveying this concept, resulting in incomplete student comprehension. A more accurate representation of the fundamental essence of animation can be found in the work by Sutrisno, Pramono, Wardhana, & Samodra in 2023. Presently, as part of a project assignment in higher education focusing on animation, students are tasked with creating a 3D animated film. The primary requirement is to adhere rigorously to the foundational principles of animation during the video production process. This research primarily revolves around developing and implementing a video animation tailored for undergraduate students in the context of "CPC 452 Animation and Virtual Reality," utilizing a set of 12 animation principles. As indicated by the research conducted by Anjarwati, Darmayanti, & Khoirudin in 2023, this research project employs the 4-D methodology, which involves the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate phases. Before proceeding with development, it is crucial for students to choose a story title, collaboratively construct a plot with their peers, and create a storyboard. The final outcome is the creation of an animated video that conveys a moral story based on 12 principles of 3-dimensional animation that were already covered during the lecture.
