Abstract

Knowledge Transfer (KT) is increasingly acquiring a greater presence among the main activities of public agents of the Spanish Science, Technology and Innovation System (SECTI), especially in universities. Like other institutional systems, SECTI is plagued by gender biases and gaps that directly affect the development and opportunities of women's research careers. This causes the entire existing research potential to not be exploited, reducing the scope and impact of the system itself. Therefore, through government action, measures are being implemented to promote greater equality between women and men in the research career. In this study, we analyze whether the measures committed and implemented contribute to the main gender determinants that hinder women's participation in TC activities of the R&D system.
